Description
English: ATLANTIC OCEAN (25 April 2009): A rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB) from the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98) heads to the Colombian National Navy replenishment ship ARC Cartagena de Indias (161) for a passenger transfer during exercise UNITAS Gold. USS Oak Hill (LSD-51) is visible in the background. UNITAS Gold was the 50th iteration of the annual multinational maritime exercise known as UNITAS, which provides the opportunity to conduct and integrate joint and combined land, maritime, coast guard and air operations in a realistic training environment. The exercise was taking place 20 April to 5 May 2009 off the coast of Florida (USA).)
