Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sherman Field, Pensacola, Fla. (June 22, 2005) - The last T-34C Turbomentor, assigned to Training Air Wing Six (TW-6), starts it's engine prior to its last training flight on board Naval Air Station Pensacola's Sherman Field. Flight Instructor Lt. Jason Wells, assigned to Training Squadron Four (VT-4), and student Ens. Luis Diez preformed the last flight, which was a low-level visual navigation check-flight. The T-34C is an unpressurized two-seat, tandem cockpit turboprop trainer used to train Navy and Marine Corps pilots. Training Air Wing Six will replace their T-34C aircraft with the new T-6A Texan II. U.S. Navy photo by Marc Bizzell (RELEASED)
