English: Persian Gulf (Dec. 21, 2004) – An HH-60H Seahawk assigned to the " Dusty Dogs" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Seven (HS-7), test dispenses flares and chaff from the on board AN/AAR-47 system. This system helps protect the helicopter from radar guided and heat intercept missile threats. HS-7 is part of the Essex Expeditionary Strike Group, operating in the Northern Persian Gulf with other multi-national forces in support of the sovereign government of Iraq.
