Description
English: Myrtle Beach International Airport, S.C. (June 4, 2004) - With the National Ensign flying, U.S. Marine Corps Sgt Baron Morales, from Miami, Fla., monitors the engine start of the Blue Angels C-130 Hercules transport plane "Fat Albert." The Blue Angels use "Fat Albert" to fly 45 maintenance and support personal with their gear to each of the 34 show sites. "Fat Albert" opens most shows demonstrating its Jet-Assisted Takeoff (JATO) capability. The "Blue Angels" fly the F/A-18A Hornet as they perform approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial demonstration, which runs approximately an hour and 15 minutes.
