English: At sea aboard USS Juneau (LPD 10) Mar.15, 2001 -- The amphibious assault ship operates off the coast of Iwo Jima. Mount Suribachi stands prominently in the background, made famous by Joe Rosenthal's historical photograph of U.S. Marines raising the flag atop the mountain, during one of the bloodiest conflicts of the Pacific war.
