Description
English: The aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CVA-60) launching off Vietnam. A Ling-Temco-Vought A-7A Corsair II from Attack Squadron VA-37 Bulls has just been launched from one of the waist catapults, while two McDonnell F-4J Phantom II from Fighter Squadron VF-103 Sluggers (top) and VF-31 Tomcatters are sitting on the forward catapults. All Squadrons were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3) aboard the Saratoga for a deplyoment to Vietnam from 11 April 1972 to 13 February 1973.
