Description

The U.S. Navy Gearing-class destroyer USS Rich (DDE-820). View of the bridge and the tripod foremast, with the underway watch set, during the 1950s. A portion of the ship's trainable hedgehog is visible at the bottom left.

Note radar antennas and signal flags. The radars include the Mk 37 gun director with Mk 25 radar, SPS-6 and SPS-10 on the mast.
