Summary[edit]

Description The decommissioned U.S. Navy submarine tender USS Orion (AS-18) in a dry dock at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia (USA), in 1994. The shipyard was making sure the hull is water tight before moving the ship to storage. The Orion had been in service from 30 September 1943 to 3 September 1993. She was finally scrapped in 2006.
