Description
English: The U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA-4) underway at sea, with three Boeing-Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight (midships & aft) and two Bell AH-1 SeaCobra helicopters being prepared for launching.
As Nassau was commissioned 28 July 1979 and the photo appeared in the U.S. Navy's "All Hands" magazine March 1980 issue, the photo was can be dated to 1979-1980.
