Summary[edit]

Description The U.S. Navy submarine oiler USS Guavina (SSO-362). From March 1949, Guavina underwent extensive overhaul and modification for conversion to a submarine oiler at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, California (USA), and was even equipped with a snorkel. Guavina recommissioned in the active fleet as SSO-362 1 February 1950.
