Description
English: Francisco Valdovinos, chief boatswain's mate, observers the line handlers as the ship pulls in pierside behind USS Constitution at Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston. Freedom is the first of two littoral combat ships designed to operate in shallow water environments to counter threats in coastal regions and is currently en route to Norfolk, Va.
