Description U.S. 5th FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Sept. 16, 2014) – Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and sailors with the USS Comstock (LSD 45) unload a pallet during a replenishment at sea, Sept. 16. The Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
