Description U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Sept. 15, 2014) Lance Cpl. Adrian Espinoza, a rifleman with Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a Fremont, California native, listens to radio traffic as part of the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) small craft action team (SCAT) during a straits transit. Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
