Description

GULF OF ADEN (July 30, 2013) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 transports supplies as the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) approaches the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO 201), not pictured, to conduct a replenishment-at-sea. Carter Hall is deployed as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperations efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
