English: Gary Sinise, award-winning actor and bass guitarist for the Lt. Dan Band, plays in front a crowd at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 13, 2010. The band’s performance in front of nearly 350 service members and civilians marked the first time they played at the air station. The event was hosted by TriWest and sponsored by the USO. Nearly 350 service members and civilians turned up to watch the band. Playing for almost two-and-a-half hours, the band provided covers of songs from different musical eras, from “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” to psychedelic classic "Purple Haze." |
