English: 20180813-FS-ShastaTrinity-PRW-035 Pacific Southwest Regional Forester Randy Moore speaks with Brenda Burman, Commissioner for the Bureau of Reclamation. USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue, blue shirt, and Department of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, white shirt, are given a Carr Fire operations briefing at the Shasta District Fair and Event Center near Redding, Aug. 13, 2018, by CAL FIRE’s Bret Gouvea and USDA Forest Service’s Todd Pechota, Inter-Agency Incident Commanders, who summarize the situation, forecast and suppression strategy under Unified Command. In attendance from the Forest Service to answer questions regarding post-fire restoration and general forest management are Interim Chief Vicki Christiansen, Pacific Southwest Regional Forester Randy Moore, Shasta-Trinity National Forest Supervisor Scott Russell and Fire Director Shawna Legarza. Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service also provided briefings, followed by local media questions moderated by North-Operations Director Gwen Sanchez.
