Description
English: Old emblem for USAF Chaplain Service. Emblems in the form of shields, like this one, were for smaller USAF organizations, while those inside a disk (an outer circle) were for larger ones. This shield was eventually incorporated into a larger disk, and eventually the USAF Chaplain Service title was changed to USAF Chaplain Corps.
