Description
English: Church of the Holy Virgin of Ljeviš in Prizren, surround by barbed wire which should prevent new damage attempts. The Church was founded by the Serbian king Milutin Nemanjić (1282 – 1321), son of the king Uroš Nemanjić and Helen of Anjou. Church was seriously damaged in 17.03.2004 and from 2006 is declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Church is still at the UNESCO List of World Heritage in Danger, jointly with other medieval monuments.
