DescriptionU.S. Navy Sailors depart the Canadian navy ship HMCS Fredericton. (15949058624).jpg |
ADRIATIC SEA (Feb. 12, 2015) A rigid-hull inflatable boat from the guided-missile cruiser USS Vicksburg (CG 69), flagship for Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2), departs SNMG2 Canadian ship HMCS Fredericton (FFH 337) during a Sailor exchange between the ships. Sailors from SNMG2 ships were given an opportunity to spend time on a different allied ship, experiencing Navy life aboard. SNMG2 is a multinational integrated force that projects a constant and visible reminder of the Alliance’s solidarity and cohesion afloat and provides the Alliance with a continuous maritime capability to perform a wide range of tasks, including exercises and real-world operations in periods of crisis and conflict.
