English: The U.S. Coast Guard collaborated with various local, state, and federal agencies during the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse in Baltimore, Maryland, March 26, 2024. The operational objectives of the Unified Command center on multiple fronts: foremost, safeguarding the welfare of the public and first responders; ensuring accountability for any missing individuals; preserving environmental integrity; stabilizing the incident; safely restoring transportation infrastructure and maritime commerce; and providing steadfast support for ongoing investigations.
