English: U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Flem Walker, commanding general of 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) and the deputy commanding general-sustainment for United States Army Central, attends a meeting at Camp Taji, Iraq, June 17, 2017. Walker's purpose is to get an overview of the U.S. Army logistic capability after taking command on May 15, 2017. His visit will assist in increasing partner forces capability as an integral part of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity mission by training and improving the capability of partnered forces fighting ISIS. CJTF – OIR is the global Coalition to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. |
