| Description |
English: Proposals for post-war Coventry included one for a vista from Pool Meadow to St Michael's Cathedral and Holy Trinity parish church. Instead a multi-storey car park occupied this site until demolished for the Phoenix millennium redevelopment. This view is from Fairfax Street in spring 2001. St Michael's spire on the left and Holy Trinity's is on the right. Between them are buildings on Priory Row. After archaeological investigation, this site was built on and the view hidden again behind the Priory Place buildings. |
