| Description |
English: Two Roads to Kinnerton? The new road to Higher Kinnerton is on the right, and the old road is straight on through the bushes! Before Dr Beeching closed the rural rail lines there was a line across the road ahead, approximately where the power cable pole is now. The road, therefore, went to the left here, down into a deep cutting, around a dangerous corner, and up the other side. The railway was carried on a bridge over the road, and after the line closed I think the bridge was demolished, however, impenetrable brambles preclude close examination. Subsequently this new road was laid across the fields. |
