| Description |
English: Two Firsts at Swansea railway station. When these First Great Western trains arrived at Swansea, this was the back of each train. Because Swansea is a dead-end station Link this will be the front of each train when they leave. In 2015, with power units and a cab at each end, this is straightforward. In the steam era, and when a diesel locomotive was used, a replacement locomotive from Landore depot had to be attached to this end of a train for the onward journey. |
