English: The ship originally named “Thielen” was built by "Howaldtswerke AG" at Kiel in 1900 as a freighter and later on converted to a tug.

1900: delivered to "NDC - Neue Dampfer Compagnie" at Kiel 1923: converted to tug, renamed HOWACHT 1927: sold to Gustav Ipland at Buenos Aires and renamed JUANA IPLAND 1928: sold to "Cia Transportadora de Petroleos de Buenos Aires" at Buenos Aires (ARG), renamed TOWPET 1938: renamed ESSO TOW

1947: finally sold to "SA Petrolera Argentina" at Buenos Aires, renamed ESSO GUAZU.
