Deutsch: Tuchmacherbrunnen, Vienna (enthüllt am 7.6.1928)

Oskar Thiede, österr. Bildhauer *13.02.1879 Wien-+22.11.1961 Wien. An der Stelle dieses Brunnens stand von 1436-1753 der sogenannte "Schöne Brunnen" (Historisches Lexikon Wien, Band 5, Felix Czeike). Text der beiden Tafeln: Zur Verschönerung des Stadtbildes errichtet von der Städtischen Versicherungs-Anstalt Anläßlich ihres 30 jährigen Bestandes- Unter dem Bürgermeister Karl Seitz im Jahr 1928

Von 1436 bis Ende des 18 Jahrhunderts stand hier der "Schöne Brunnen"
