Nederlands: Priesterattribuut. Donkerbruine, uitgerekt S-vormige tak of liaan, die aan de bovenzijde voorzien is van een bundel zwarte staartharen van een miereneter, gedeeltelijk omwikkeld in kegelvorm met katoengaren, dat met witte klei is bestreken en versierd met kaurischelpjes, rode glaskralen en koperen schakelkettinkjes. Daaronder zijn op de tak enkele koperen kopspijkers aangebracht, twee kwastjes van katoengaren en daaronder een eromheen gewikkeld koperen schakelketttinkje.
Met zo'n magische bezem (obia = amulet; Encyclopaedie van Nederlandsch West-Indië: 515-516) verjagen - volgens de oude zettel - wintipriesters boze geesten tijdens rituelen. Zo meent ook Goslings: 45-46, die daaraan nog toevoegt, dat dit magische voorwerp ("odja") gebezigd werd door een obiaman bij magische ceremoniën. Legêne meldt dat deze obia en H-2965 - beide door Van Breugel, die ze als een soort bezem beschouwde, in 1824 vanuit Suriname als curiositeit naar Nederland meegenomen - ten onrechte werden toegeschreven aan de bosnegers in plaats van aan de slaven. Van Breugel verwierf ze waarschijnlijk op zijn plantage Clifford Kocqshove. Hiermee wil zij aanduiden, dat na 1871 in Nederland "in de volkenkundige collecties van de negentiende eeuw iedere relatie met slavernij verdween van objecten uit de slavencultuur zelf. De slavernij bestond toen niet meer en de slaven waren inmiddels christenen geworden; de bosnegers representeerden de vreemde cultuur waartoe het museum zich wilde verhouden" (1998: 384-388)..
