| Description |
Deutsch: Westportal der Liebfrauenkirche in Trier: Ecclesia als Symbol des christlichen Evangeliums, Petrus mit dem Fischernetz (statt der üblichen Schlüssel) und Adam. Die Statue der Ecclesia ist ein Abguss des im Museum befindlichen Originals. Die beiden anderen Figuren waren im Zuge der Säkularisation zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts verloren gegangen. Die jetzigen Statuen sind 1991/92 geschaffene Neuschöpfungen der Bildhauer Theo Heiermann (Petrus) und Elmar Hillebrand (Adam). Die Figuren sind etwa 1,80 Meter groß. |
