Description |
Deutsch: Straßenbahn Berlin Charlottenburg Nr. 39 ("Charlottenburger Wagen"); verkehrte zwischen Charlottenburger Straßenbahnhof und Brandenburger Tor. Dieser Wagen ist für den reinen Akkumulatorbetrieb gebaut, d.h. er bezieht seine elektrische Energie ausschließlich aus Akkumulatoren und besitzt keine Möglichkeit seine Energie zwischenzeitlich aus Oberleitungen zu beziehen, wie es bei einem Wagen für den gemischten Betrieb der Fall wäre. In diesem Fall handelt es sich um Planté-Bleiakkumulatoren. Mit diesen Akkumulatoren war es möglich den Wagen einen ganzen "Tagesdienst" zu betreiben, ohne diesen zwischendurch nachladen zu müssen. Über diesen Wagen berichtete der Elektrotechnische Anzeiger 1896, Seite 94, wie folgt: Der Wagen wiegt leer 9,7t und besetzt 11,87t, von denen 3,4t auf Untergestell, Motor und Steuerapparat und 3t auf den Wagenkasten entfallen, während die Akkumulatoren 3,3t und die 31 Personen 2,17t wiegen. ... Der Akkumulator besitzt eine Kapazität von 420Ah bei einem Entladestrom von 17,5A und eine Kapazität von 210Ah bei einem Entladestrom von 70A. Beim Anfahren des Vollbesetzten Wagens in der Ebene wird ein Strom von 27A und bei voller Fahrt 17A gebraucht. |
