Museu Nacional Ferroviário (FMNF) White light placed on the fronts of the trains. Its purpose was to light up the path at night or during poor weather conditions and improve poor wheather conditions and improve machine's visibility. in Wikipedia Rotunda das Locomotivas do Museu Nacional do Ferroviário, Entroncamento O Museu Nacional Ferroviário (MNF) é um museu ferroviário polinucleado português, apresentando em diversos núcleos museológicos ao público coleções sobre locomotivas a vapor e outros tipos de tracção, modelos representativos de comboios famosos, carruagens de vários tipos, bem como de equipamentos, utensílios, vestuário, entre outros elementos que ilustram e ajudam a compreender a história ferroviária. O museu é mantida pela Fundação Museu Nacional Ferroviário Armando Ginestal Machado (FNMF). A fundação tem por fim o estudo, a conservação e a valorização do património histórico, cultural e tecnológico ferroviário português, e como fim específico a instalação e gestão do Museu Nacional Ferroviário e dos respectivos núcleos museológicos. Foi instituída pelo Decreto-Lei nº 38/2005, de 17 de Fevereiro de 2005. |
