English: Train approaching Radyr. A diesel multiple unit approaching Radyr station in 1990. In the foreground is an array of semaphore signals. The red arms either instruct the train driver to stop (when horizontal, as in this image) or indicate that the line ahead is clear (if the arm is at a 45-degree angle). The yellow arms tell the driver whether the next signal is showing 'stop' or 'line clear'. |
