Description
Español: TRANSITO DE VENUS EN EL SOL. 05-06.06.2012.

Visible en: Océano Pacífico, América del Norte, Europa Centro-Oriental, Asia, Artico, Africa Oriental y Noroeste de Sud América.

El tránsito de Venus en el disco solar ocurre cuando el planeta se encuentra en o muy cerca de alguno de sus dos nodos, tanto ascendente como descendente, además de tener una elongación, es decir el ángulo Sol-Venus-Tierra de 0º (Conjunción Inferior). El movimiento del tránsito venusino es retrógrado respecto al solar y esto se debe a los dos movimientos en conjunto de la Tierra y de Venus entorno al Sol, siendo el de Venus más rápido que el terrestre.

El primer tránsito de Venus fue observado por el astrónomo inglés Jeremiah Horrocks el 04.12.1639 desde las 14:56:13 hora local. El siguiente a este del 2012 ocurrirá el 11.12.2117. O quizás antes el hombre en el espacio, astronautas/cosmonautas, puedan observar otro desde su nave espacial en un punto interplanetario privilegiado para tal evento.
