Summary[edit]

Description

New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina: Towing flooded out automobiles from the neutral ground of Napoleon Avenue near Freret Street, Uptown. Many people parked their automobiles on raised neutral grounds (medians) in unsucessful hopes of saving them from rising flood waters. Note lines from long standing flood water visible on car just below door handles. Flood lines also visible on houses in background, particularly clearly on white pillars of house at right.
