Description German Luftwaffe (Air Force) crew chiefs go through a pre-flight inspection of a Panavia Tornado ECR "Wild Weasel" aircraft (s/n 46+41) during the "Red Flag-Alaska 08-3" exercise on 12 June 2008 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska (USA). The Germans were participating in RF-A 08-3, a 10-day air combat training exercise held up to four times a year over Alaskan and Western Canadian airspace. Thr Tornado was from Jagdbombergeschwader 32 (JaboG 32) (32nd Fighter-Bomber Wing) at Lechfeld, Bavaria, Germany. Note the AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missile on the Tornado.
