Description |
English: Watercolour of Todmorden Mills, located in the Don River valley in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Todmorden Mills is now a complex of historic buildings serving as a museum and arts centre -- the buildings were restored by the former Borough of East York as its 1967 Centennial project. Visible in this watercolour are the papermill with its landmark brick smokestack (currently a theatre and art gallery), the distillery and brewery building, and William Helliwell's house. |
