Summary[edit]

Description

His name is Yadaiah, one of the toddy tappers I met when we went to a picnic. Around 100 kilometres away from Hyderabad, is a pretty little village called 'Komaravelli' also called 'Komarelli'. Famous for a temple of God 'Mallanna' (Lord Shiva).

Though we friends were there because of a different reason. Just to have fun and drink "Toddy" also called 'Kallu' in my native language. You might be wondering what is this toddy...

Palm wine, also called palm toddy or simply toddy, is an alcoholic beverage created from the sap of various species of palm tree. The drink is particularly common in parts of Africa, South India ,particularly Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, where it is known by the name of kallu and in the Philippines, where it is known as tuba.
