English: Timeline of Human Development in North America
Description
English:

Graphic timeline of estimated human development in North America. The four major time periods included in the graph are Pre-Glacial Max, Last Glacial Max (LGM), Post Glacial Max, and Holocene.

Clovis Point is commonly accepted as the oldest evidence of Native culture in North America, dating as far back as 13,500 years ago. However, the footprints found at White Sands challenge human evolution theories which predate at 21,000-23,000 years ago.
