Description
English: Gravitational attraction of the moon on several places on earth: Z = zenith, N = nadir, C = centre of earth. Relative sizes of arrows are exaggerated, true values (for mean distance of moon) are indicated.
Nederlands: Aantrekkingskracht van de maan op verschillende plekken op aard: Z = zenit, N = nadir, C = centrum van de aarde. De lengteverschillen van de pijlen zijn sterk overdreven: de werkelijke waarden (voor als de maan op gemiddelde afstand staat) zijn aangegeven.
