Summary[edit]

Description
English: Three Storied Stone Pagoda in Hwango-dong, Gyeongju. Gyeongsangbuk-do Cultural Property No. 8. Location: 41-1, Seongdong-dong, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. This pagoda is located on the grounds of the Gyeongju Station.

The description on the sign next to the pagoda says:

"This pagoda was originally located on the Sajasa temple site at Dongbang-dong in Gyeongju city. On the occasion of moving Gyeongju railroad station here in 1936, the pagoda was also moved here. The foundation has a two-tired [sic] base and consists of four stones. Corner pillars are carved. On the pedestal cover stone is laid the body stone. There is no base stone for the body stone. The first roof stone is 4-stepped. The 2nd and 3rd body stones are short in comparison with the 1st body stone. The 2nd and 3rd story roof stones are similar to that of the first story."
