Description |
English: The work of the American Hospital in Britain, Park Prewett Hospital, Basingstoke, Hampshire, February 1941 Nurses of the American Hospital in Britain eat lunch at the table reserved for them in the large nurses' dining hall of Park Prewitt Hospital, to which AHB is attached. A doctor of AHB stops at the end of the table to greet the ladies. Facing the camera on the left of the photograph is Sister Alma Gee. Sitting with her back to the camera nearest Sister Gee is Sister Trotter and facing the camera to the left of the photograph are lab technician Mary Mortell and Sister Lewis. |
