Summary[edit]

Description
English: The surface of Binney Tip. This top of this old clay waste heap falls gently to the west and south. The surface is wet, the grass is coarse. The boundary with Southacre Quarry is on the right. The lip of the slope down to the River Teign is the distant edge 1737964. The County MInerals Plan suggests that the tip might be removed in future to allow quarrying of the in-demand Type 1 light clays that lie beneath it.
