Ithaca is the home of the popular and widely knownIthaca Hand, which gives concerts at the park on week day even-ings and Sunday afternoons and evenings. The park theater has astage 20 x 36 ft. in size and a seating capacity of over 700. Musicalcomedies and vaudeville are the principal entertainments. The most notable characteristic of Renwick Beach Park is thegood order which is preserved there. It is policed by veteransfrom the city police force and no intoxicants are sold. Every otherkind of commodity needed is sold in the various buildings by reput-able people, who lease the concessions from the company. EdwardG. Wyckoff, of Ithaca, is president and principal owner of theIthaca Street Railway Co., and Renwick Beach Park, and RobertL. Post, general manager of the company and the park.
