GKAND STAIRWAY, VESTIBULE SCTKO BATHS, artificial beauties reminds one of an enchanted garden.Those who visited the California Midwinter Fair willfind many of its Midway novelties there. The Firthwheel, the mirror maze, the haunted swing have all beenrestored, and it is understood the electric tower is to beset up in the open space above the baths. On thesegrounds are held every Saturdaj- and Sunday afternoonand evening band concerts, athletic events and other out-door amusements. As a pleasure resort it has not itsequal in the world. The Dayton Traction Compan3% of Dayton. ().. hascontracted with Stern & Silverman, of Philadelphia,Pa., for the building of the line from Dayton to Miamis-burg. a distance of twelve miles. The contract calls forthe furnishing of the roadbed, complete with bridges,cars, trucks and motors, Corliss engines, boilers, dynamosand the erection of steel and brick car-barn and powerstation, all to be in operation by July i, 1896.
