This cam is thrown at will by a wooden handlehaving a metal socket which fits over the short projection seen onthe side of the cam. This line, which will include 30 miles of singletrack, is now under construction for the Ferrocarrilles Urbano deLima Co., which, for several years, has been operating horse carsin Lima. About one-half of the work of electrical equipment willbe completed by the first of July and the balance, it is expected, willbe in operation before the beginning of the year 1907.
