Siamang is very fond of singing in groups.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Siamang (Symphalangus syndactylus) is a black monkey with long arms, and lives in trees. In general, gibbons are very agile when moving in the trees, so no predator can catch them. Siamang is a threatened species, due to rapid habitat deforestation. Siamang does not have a tail and has a less upright posture. Its peculiarity is in its large throat pouch and can expand and sparse hair. When they reach their largest size, the throat sac can be comparable to a grapefruit. Another unique characteristic of this species is that its arms act as propulsion when climbing, swinging or jumping
