| Description |
English: The real site of the Battle of Bosworth? This footpath starts at Foxcovert Lane, crosses over a small stream via this footbridge, crosses over Fenn Lanes, and carries on to the small Leicestershire village of Upton.
A recent archaeological survey and archaeological finds in this area has revealed that these fields mark the actual site of The Battle of Bosworth. Ambion Hill and the current visitor centre lie over a mile across fields to the north-east. There are plans to link the two sites via a footpath. |
