Summary[edit]

Description
English: For hundreds of years, Syrian craftsmen have transformed “clay” into creativity and antiques through the art of “faience” to decorate palaces and give Damascene homes their elegance and beauty. Since Damascus is the oldest historical capital that is still inhabited, it is considered the home of this art, whose craftsmen, despite their small number, still continue to this day in the corners of the old city.
