Description
English: The line of the Roman fortress wall - 2008. The Roman fortress wall once ran along this line towards the brass plaque on the wall of the Bank of Scotland building - see also 1140920. Unfortunately in January 2009 the plaque has disappeared - see 1140949. The Roman wall was demolished in the Middle Ages when the walls were extended to where they are today, overlooking the Roodee.
