Summary[edit]

Description
English: The estuary at Kippford The correct name of the estuary is Rough Firth. Most estuaries in Scotland are called Firths. However, a firth isn't uniquely an estuary, for example it is used in Shetland to describe what would be termed sea lochs in Mainland Scotland.
