Summary[edit]

Description

Issue 34 of Science in School was published in November 2015. Some of the highlights of this issue include: a look at some of the physiological and sociological benefits of laughter; understanding how Earth’s climate can teach us about other planets; and a safari through your mouth's microbial jungle. Teaching activities include: a practical lesson demonstrating the hazards of plastic waste in our oceans; an activity to understand forces through the design and construction of a glider wing; and a way to build a digital microscope.
